Copyright Basics for Educators and Students

This policy affirms the College’s commitment to comply with United States law pertaining to copyright as expressed in Article I, Section 8 of the U.S. Constitution and codified in various laws.

This policy is intended to provide direction for the use of computing hardware and software, networking and other information technology resources, including video-conferencing facilities, associated with or accessible from Dakota State University.

This policy defines the responsibilities and procedures for DSU employees and students to disclose intellectual properties created through sponsored or faculty-driven research in compliance with South Dakota Board of Regents Intellectual Property policy 4.9.1.
