Downloading an eBook to your collection

How to download an ebook in OverDrive

Step-by-Step

1. Select a book you are interested in reading by clicking the "Borrow" button.

In the upper right hand corner, you will see the available formats of the book.

**NOTE: A small handful DSU's OverDrive books are only available in OverDrive Read and EPUB formats.**

If you read the sample and aren't feeling the book, don't sweat it! Click "Add to wish list" if you think it is something you might want to come back to.

2. After clicking "Borrow," you will come to a page that describes the book of interest, allows you to read a sample in the browser, and read reviews.

3. After you click "Borrow," you will choose the length of your loan. The loans are between 7 - 21 days.

Downloading to Kindle

You can decide if you want to download the book to your Kindle, read it in the Browser, or download the EPUB.

**If you download the EPUB, you can only use Adobe Digital Editions to read the book**

 

"Read now with Kindle," will re-direct you to Amazon.com, where you will choose a device to send the book to, then click "Get Library Book."
