Checkout & return:

  • At the front desk of the Library, give your instructor's name and the title of the item you want to check out. Items on reserve are kept at the front desk of the Library.
  • Please return items promptly in order to be considerate of other students using the materials.

Placing Items on Reserve: Information for Instructors

  1. Complete a Library Reserve Request Form for each item. The form provides all the information we need to process your request.
  2. Take forms and items to the Library's front desk
  3. Allow at least one week for processing.
  4. Items placed on reserve may be from the Library's collections or may belong to the member of the faculty placing them on reserve.
  5. If copies rather than original materials are to be placed on reserve, the Library must be contacted to ensure adherence to federal copyright law.

The Library will attach a barcode and a reserve sticker on faculty-owned items.
Let the library know if you do not want an item altered in this way.
