The Web of Science database offers "Smart Search," a search feature that uses natural language processing and semantic search to analyze your question and create the best and most relevant query for you. Smart Search essentially makes it so you do not have to use boolean operators to search the database. Simply input your question into the search bar and search!

One of the strengths of Web of Science is its Citation Network. Web of Science provides the number of references an article cites within it, as well as the number of papers that have cited that article. These numbers help show the reach and popularity of the article, making it easier to find seminal papers within your field.
Web of Science also provides an interactive Co-citation map for each article entry. The Co-citation map illustrates which papers have cited the article and what references the article cited within it, giving you a clear picture of the article's impact and relationships within its field.
