For more information on the O'Reilly Answers tool, see the provided FAQ sheet here.
The O'Reilly Answers tool uses Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) to answer users questions based on resources found within O'Reilly. This tool uses an open-source AI model, not ChatGPT. O'Reilly Answers provides succinct responses in divided sections to your queries—sometimes giving examples of computer code—and lists the resources it used. You can view the piece of information each source provided the tool by clicking on "More >" underneath each listed book to the left of the answer, as well as add each book to a playlist that you can access later. At the bottom of the answer, O'Reilly Answers provides a list of related questions you may want to ask to continue your search. It also provides "My Answers History" that you can use to return to previous queries. O'Reilly Answers does not take user information, uses interactions as training data, nor sells data to third parties.
