EndNote provides a way to manage citations and keep track of important resources you find along your research journey.
Use EndNote can help prevent being unable to retrieve research sources when compiling the final project.
You can create individual folders for each research project that you are working on and save citations to various folders.
Dakota State University students, faculty, and staff can use EndNote for free as part of the Mundt Library's subscription to Web of Science (Clarivate Analytics) databases.
If you choose to use EndNote Online, you do not need to download any software and your citation database is stored on EndNote servers on the web (at no cost to you).
If you choose to use EndNote desktop, you will download the software (at no cost to you) onto your computer and will store your database of citations on your computer.
Your citations are synced between the EndNote Desktop and EndNote Online applications so you can use EndNote across devices.
