Course Reserves

Faculty members place material on reserve so that their students in a course can be guaranteed access to the items. When placing items on reserve, the faculty member selects whether the item will be checked out for 4-hours (for use in the library), for 24

Placing items on reserve

  1. Complete a Library Reserve Request Form for each item. The form provides all the information we need to process your request.
  2. Take forms and items to the Library's front desk
  3. Allow at least one week for processing.
  4. Items placed on reserve may be from the Library's collections or may belong to the member of the faculty placing them on reserve.
  5. If copies rather than original materials are to be placed on reserve, the Library must be contacted to ensure adherence to federal copyright law.

The Library will attach a barcode and a reserve sticker on faculty-owned items.
Let the library know if you do not want an item defaced in this way.
