Articles in magazines & journals

  • Go to Databases A-Z, select your subject, and find a list of recommended research tools to search
    or
  • Use Search (almost) Everything.  After searching, use the options on the left side of the window to show only articles

Books, audio, video

  • Available from the Mundt Library: search the Library Catalog.
  • Available from libraries worldwide: search the Library Catalog and then use options on the left side of the results window to switch to "Libraries worldwide."

Magazine or journal (by its title)

  • Search the Journal finder for the title of magazine, newspaper, or journal

Research guide for my class or major

Research databases by subject

  • Go to Databases A-Z. Use the "All Subjects" dropdown menu at the top to select a specific subject.

Historical Archive Collections

Digital Library of South DakotaDigital Library of South Dakota has three online collections provided by Dakota State University:  DSU University Archives,  Karl E. Mundt Archives, and Lake Madison Chautauqua.

 

 

 

DSU Broom Drill Team 1887Dakota State University ARCHIVES  provides information on people, events, buildings, etc. Many photos are included on the website in a section called "DSU Timeline." [Note: Additional materials such as yearbooks, newspapers, photos, and more may be found in the Digital Library of South Dakota.]

 

 

Karl E. MundtKarl E. Mundt ARCHIVES contains the papers and other memorabilia of Karl E. Mundt. Elected in 1938 to the U.S. House of Representatives, he served five terms, and then served four terms as a U.S. Senator. During his tenure, he held membership in some of the Senate's most influential committees.
